The nature of the beast.

This is my first blog. I've been a consumer of blogs for some time now, but haven't had the inclination to jump into the fray. As this is a class requirement, I find myself pondering whether I should continue beyond this point. After all, I feel kind of silly sharing my (marginally informed) opinions with a public that isn't likely to read about them. I guess that's why blogging has always seemed weird to me. On the other hand, I haven't been writing what I know. I've been reacting to and fulfilling an assignment. Now that that has concluded (for good or ill) I can go on to write about what I know, or throw in the towel. In the words of Larry David, "must go on...can't go on...must go on."
